Fleeced…in the name of Hagee!

I personally am boycotting TBN and the rest of the heretics on God Channel, DayStar, etc. I was a member of John Hagee’s Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX for too many years. I hung on his every word and would never think a so-called man of God would lie, but he did. I was a single mom and on welfare, and I was told to tithe and God would bless me. I even had the electricity turned off several times because I tithed instead of paying my bills. When I finally realized I had been fleeced for years, I told my cell leaders (who professed to love me), that I was not going to tithe anymore, and they advised me that “I was cursing my kids”, and “I had lost my salvation.” They informed me that the subject of tithing was not open for discussion, and that was the end of it. We are “trained” not to ever question anything so that played right into it. We are never taught to read and interpret the bible for ourselves, we just believe the pastor’s translations. Hagee even has his own study bible that we used for cell group study.

I had a car accident two years ago and could no longer afford to tithe because I had started making payments on a used car, since mine was totaled in the accident. One day, two years later, I was on my knees begging God to forgive me for not tithing when he led me to Malachi 2 and 3, which is addressed to the priests of that day NOT the people of Israel. Anyone can “claim” to be a Christian and still be a phony. A REAL Christian will not be able to continue in sin because the Holy Spirit will convict him/her. People tend to run away these days if someone says they are a Christian, and expect that to mean that they are honest. A REAL Christian will be honest with you at all costs.These prosperity pimps or pulpit pimps are just that “pimps,” and they want your MONNEEEEYY!! They will take your credit card, your 401k, your IRA, land, jewelry, your medicine money, retirement, inheritance, you name it. Just look at the Sunday sales of books, tapes, CD’s, videos, jewelry, that the MONEYCHANGERS sell at the churches after, before and during service. Every where you turn they are fleecing the flock and they want to target everyone. Churches have turned into big business and it’s all tax free. How can you make a CD for $1.00 and sell it for $6.00 and call it non profit. They usually sell them for more than market value. Then they don’t want to have to “show” any records to the very people who are supporting them. They sell a false Jesus, a Santa-Jesus if you will. It is insane. Who wouldn’t want to get saved when they think they are going to get rich. The pimps don’t tell you that you will have to give up your own wants to follow Him, they sell a sham…..they are cons in the first degree….the Bible warns of them and that we will have itching ears and not want to hear sound doctrine. It is obscene…..

2nd Tim 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.

I believed with all my heart, and trusted my pastor’s every word. Every FALSE word! A good analogy I saw explains it this way: if I made you a huge pot of organic spaghetti sauce and only used the very best tomatoes, veggies, etc. and I made it with lots of love too. Then I took it over to your house and said, friend, I love you so much that I made you this big pot of spaghetti sauce with only the finest, but there is one little, teeny, weeny thing. Before I came over, I mixed in a tiny little itty-bitty microscopic piece of dog poop. I cooked it in and stirred it real well, I hope you like it. WOULD YOU EAT IT?? No, of course not!! It is the same with the Gospel…..if you tell SOME truth and part lies, it makes your whole ministry a LIE!! Wake up and stop it!!

Can’t you see that the only one getting rich is the pastor and his family? Come on??? Hagee changed the name of GETV to Grace Church because a San Antonio reporter reported that Hagee made over a million dollars in 2003 for working 16 hours a week at GETV. is Grace Church is now his “umbrella” company.

 

Designer clothes, fancy titles like “doctor” and “bishop”, $10-20 million private jets, seaside mansions, and ranches and lake houses, body guards, dream vacations, Bentleys, Mercedes, plastic surgery, irrevocable trusts, exotic game to hunt, special food flown in from overseas, etc. Where is YOURS?? Stop making these con artists rich. Jesus was not rich, he SERVED the poor, he didn’t tell poor people, okay, now you are rich go buy your jet! No, he made them rich in SPIRIT!! In FAITH!! He healed the sick, but he didn’t say okay, you’re healed, now that’ll be $10.95!!

And don’t give me that malarkey that he had a treasurer that was robbing him and he didn’t even know it. Do you really believe that an all-knowing God would not know who was robbing him? Please take your head out of the sand and listen with the brain that God gave you.

People always come to me and say, “well, at least he’s leading people to Christ, what are you doing?” I used to let that bother me, but not anymore. How in the world could he be leading people to Christ when he twists scripture and worships a fake Jesus. Those are not words I say lightly, I’ve given great thought to it, we are not supposed to add or take away anything in the Bible….Hagee does that……how can it be a real Jesus if he teaches a “different” Jesus than the Bible?

Sowing seed is not sowing money, it is sowing the word into people’s lives. Jesus has promised to make us rich in faith, wisdom, spirit, love….NOT MONEY!! He did not suffer and die on the Cross for you to be rich! I am not saying it is wrong to be rich, and I’m not saying not to give. We are supposed to be givers NOT TITHERS meaning 10%…..Jesus wants your 100%, not just part of your life but all of it!! Seek his face, not his hand and he will take care of you.
